SUPER 8 POINTS TABLE: DETAILED STANDINGS FOR 2024 T20 WORLD CUP
As the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 progresses, eight teams secured their spots in the Super 8 stage. The teams have been pooled into two different groups.
Group 1 consists of India, Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, while Group 2 consists of England, West Indies, USA and South Africa.
South Africa became the first team to qualify as they won all of their group matches. Their journey started with a win against Sri Lanka, followed by a win over the Netherlands, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Australia qualified after a dominant performance in their group, winning all their games as well. India became the third team to book their berth in the Super 8 stage after they registered three consecutive wins.
Co-hosts West Indies scored a crucial win over New Zealand to seal their Super 8 berth, while Afghanistan booked their place by beating PNG. Bangladesh and England were the last two teams to qualify.
First three rounds of matches in the Super 8 have been completed with Group 2 heading for a thrilling climax.
