DOLPHINS DUO FACE SUSPENSION, AFTER DANGEROUS TACKLES IN WARRIORS VICTORY

Dolphins duo Jarrod Wallace and Anthony Milford face lengthy suspensions, after their dangerous tackles against NZ Warriors on Saturday.

Prop Wallace was penalised and placed on report in the first half of the 30-8 Warriors win, after a shoulder charge on Rocco Berry that left the centre down and out on the ground. Berry failed his head injury assessment and will miss next week's game against Canberra Raiders as a result.

"He's a bit groggy, but he's talking to us," reported Warriors coach Andrew Webster. "I had a yarn with him, so he's OK at this stage."

Just after halftime, half Milford smashed Marcelo Montoya in a late tackle that forced the winger off for a head check and the Dolphins veteran to the sin bin, later with dangerous contact.

Montoya passed his test and returned to the game. Both offences carry suspensions of 3-4 weeks, depending on their pleas, threatening to further erode the Dolphins' depth in their debut season.

Meanwhile, NZ Kiwis winger Ronaldo Mulitalo has been cited for a crusher tackle during his team's 20-12 loss to Brisbane Broncos, but will escape with a fine and no suspension.
