TEAMS OUT OF EURO 2024: UPDATED LIST OF NATIONS ELIMINATED FROM UEFA EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

With Euro 2024 now into the knockout phase, every game now is a must-win for those still battling it out in Germany.

Only 16 of the nations who qualified for the group phase will earn a place in the Round of 16, meaning eight teams will be heading home from Germany before we reach July.

With every team now having played their three group stage matches, we now know which teams will content the knockouts.

Here's a rundown of the teams knocked out of Euro 2024 so far and information on when the knockout matches will take place, up to and including the final.

Teams out of Euro 2024: Updated list of nations eliminated from UEFA European Championship

The 24-team format gives the Euros an initial round-robin phase of six groups of four. The top two in each section qualify automatically for the Round of 16, with the best four third-place teams making up the remaining sides in the first knockout phase.

From this point on, the tournament is a straight knockout competition, with 30 minutes of extra time and a penalty shootout if necessary after any game that is level at full-time.
