JON RAHM FURIOUS WITH LIV GOLF SETUP AFTER COSTLY MISTAKE WHEN FIGHTING FOR WIN

Jon Rahm, the LIV Golf sensation, was visibly irked during Sunday's tee-off as he ranted about the intrusive drones that disrupted his game.

LIV Golf employs drones to provide aerial coverage and bring spectators closer to the action, but Rahm is clearly not impressed. His frustration boiled over after his opening shot on the sixth hole landed in the drink, immediately pointing the finger at the drones.

"Every tournament. It's ------- incredible. Right on my backswing. These ------- drones every time," Rahm exploded at LIV Golf Nashville. The Spaniard was hot on the heels of leader and teammate Tyrrell Hatton until disaster struck at the sixth, leaving him needing an impeccable back-nine to stand any chance of clinching victory.

Hatton went on to clinch victory after a weather delay in Tennessee. Rahm, who hasn't yet secured a LIV Golf win since his high-profile switch from the PGA Tour and signing a deal reportedly over $300 million last year, is seemingly feeling the pressure.

This has been a year of trials for Rahm; not only did he fail to retain his Masters title, ending up tied for 45th at the season's first major, but he also missed the cut at the PGA Championship and had to pull out of the U.S. Open owing to an injury.

Rahm was forced to pull out of LIV's Houston event due to a foot injury, after an infected cut on his toe took a turn for the worse. He expressed his regret in a heartfelt statement: "After consulting with numerous doctors and my team, I have decided it is best for my long-term health, to withdraw from this week's US Open Championship."

He added: "To say I'm disappointed is a massive understatement! I wish all my peers the best of luck and want to thank all of the USGA staff, volunteers, and community of Pinehurst for hosting and putting on what I'm sure will be an amazing championship! Hopefully, I'll be back in action sooner than later!"

Bryson DeChambeau clinched the U.S. Open title, edging out Rory McIlroy by just one stroke, and turned up at LIV Nashville still reeling from the victory celebrations. Despite the raucous support he received upon entering the first round, DeChambeau confessed he wasn't at his peak, saying: "I'm a zombie right now, I'm a dead man walking I feel like."

He praised the support and the essence of LIV, stating: "It's quite an honor to be out here and have so much support it's fantastic. This is what LIV is all about, what we've tried to do for a long time and continuing to gain momentum. I'm just proud to be a part of it."
