AMANDA BALIONIS PRAISED FOR 'CLASSY' MOVE AT THE MASTERS

CBS Sports golf reporter Amanda Balionis had a "classy" message for Verne Lundquist ahead of his final Masters broadcast on Sunday.

Lundquist, the legendary CBS Sports announcer, called his final Masters on Sunday. He's set to retire from working the major championship.

Balionis took to social media with a classy message for Uncle Verne.

"It simply doesn’t get better than Verne at The Masters. One of the great honors of my career has been to learn from Uncle Verne not only as a Hall of Fame broadcaster, but as a Hall of Fame human being as well.Our pre-broadcast hangs-filled with so many stories and laughs- are memories I’ll cherish forever.Cheers to one more Sunday walk at The Masters alongside the great Verne Lundquist. #yessir," she wrote.

Golf fans loved it.
