Despite a last-ditch effort to stop the ball rolling into the net from the Red Devils man, Portugal doubled their lead in the 28th minute.

Turkey had secured an impressive 3-1 victory against Georgia last time out, whereas Portugal had secured a last-gasp 2-1 win over the Czech Republic. If Roberto Martinez's side secure all three points against Turkey, they will advance to the last 16 of the competition after just two matches, but Vincenzo Montella's men are not certain of joining them for the time being.
