AMERICAN FANS FURIOUS AFTER UNITED STATES STAR CHRISTIAN PULISIC HIT WITH 'DIRTY' TACKLE

On Thursday night the United States opened the scoring in a showdown against Panama with a firecracker of a goal from Folarin Balogun.

Unfortunately, just moments before that goal, American striker Tim Weah received yellow card for seemingly slapping a Panama player on the back of the head. After a quick review, the foul was upgraded to a red card and the team was left with just 10 men.

Panama's Cesar Blackman scored an equalizing goal not long later and the U.S. eventually fell by a final score of 2-1. Near the end of the contest, American star Christian Pulisic was hit with a nasty tackle that was a blatant foul.

The Panamanian player was sent off with a red card, but fans wanted more.

"Bro this is just dirty, nothing in this is okay," said one fan.

"Suspend him the rest of the tournament and then some. Absolutely atrocious tackle," offered another.

"How do you let this happen??" asked another.

"Pathetic tackle. Dude should be suspended for the rest of the tournament," claimed a fourth.

Here's the play in question.

Yikes.
